Yakushima(World Heritage in Japan)

The Japan Current crouwds from south . Yakushima was formed about one million years ago
and hosts over thirty 1,000m-plus high mountains .The highest peak has 1,935m Mt.Miyanoura .
Climate is high temperature a lot of rain .It is the 19.1c normal temperature, average annual
precipitation 4300mm in the flat ground . But the island sees snowfalls , especially in the mountain regions in winter(January-February) It is frequently hit by tyhoon during summer(July-October) .
The Yaku cedar streches a root to rock(mountain whole) and growing under hard condition while few thousands years . The symbol of the Yaku cedar is Jomon Sugi of which age was estimated as 7,200 years old . We hope to leave these precious natural inheritances as human beings' article・・・
